 This is a must Read, So I started watching Shark Tank only a year back and saw this product called "Doorbot" a smart doorbell device on it as the CEO Jamie Siminoff went out in tears after being rejected. Later follwed the news that Richard Branson came in followed up and got a bite at it and had 5% of the company. Lets see how that went so Jamie went on a pitch of $700,000 for 10% of the company valueing the company for about $70,000,000 guess what he was turned down and from a blog I read he invested $10,000 for this pitch and a month of work from his 10 man team at that time. Then I saw another company "Ring" a few days back from the same person and was amazed to see their head count growth from 10 to 600+ within a span of 6 years. Turns out the company has now been bought by Amazon for a freaking $1 Billion. Now Amazon's "Alexa" can tell you that you have a guest at your door or even automatically open the app and show you someones there, curious to see how this aquisition works. So if you own an "echo" or "echo dot", whatever get Ring too :p I guess now we know who had the last laugh after all.
